Connection issues?

First reboot your WiFi router

To reboot your Wi-Fi router and fix most connectivity issues, follow these steps:

  1. Unplug the Power: Disconnect the power cord from the back of the router or from the wall outlet. If your router has a battery backup, ensure you remove the batteries as well to fully cut the power.
  2. Wait 30-60 Seconds: Leave the device unplugged for at least 30 to 60 seconds. This allows the memory to clear and ensures a full power cycle.
  3. Plug It Back In: Reconnect the power cable and reinsert any batteries.
  4. Wait for Initialization: It can take 2 to 5 minutes for the router to fully boot up and re-establish a connection with your ISP. Look for the status lights to stabilize, usually turning green or blue.
  5. Test Your Connection: Once the lights are steady, try visiting a website or running an internet speed test to verify the fix.

Second reboot your dish

Your Dish power supply may be white or black

  1. Unplug the power from the wall for 10-20 seconds or at least until the power light goes off
